Kalk and vinegar users

Is your reservoir getting a black filmy stuff in it?? My 5 gallon bucket gets a greyish black film is this safe to dose?? Is it normal??

I used to be a kalk user, I had precip buildup in my bucket. Never had any black film, but would suggest to clean and rinsed the bucket everytime you make a new mix.

It could be some type of comtaminate. I'd dump that mix.

Yeah, I dumped the remainder, wiped it down with paper towel paper, and added new mix.. Also noticed the phosphates went back up..
Anyone dosing vinegar and Kalk???

i do, and i dont get any slime, but i also have 2 containers i switch out and clean, fill one up with ro and day before i have to switch top off i mix the kalk and vinegar, if anything i have a white residue

Okay, so it must have been something in the bucket previously.. I'll have to get a fresh bucket from the depot,,lol..

I just started adding vinegar to my kalk top off, I haven't observed any black residue on it, but i'll keep an eye out for it.
