When population explosions lik that happen , in many cases the snails will eat and breed them selves to starvation. Then you will have a mass die off and the system will find balance. I would not reccomend adding a wrasse just to control ths snails.

My cleaner shrimp ate all of mine. I had tons until I bought that cleaner shrimp. I bet you people will disagree, but I saw it with my own two eyes, watching the cleaner shrimp chase the thing around the tank.

I am not saying all cleaner shrimp eat the snails, but mine def. has the appetite for em. My tank has a collection of their small nail like shells everywhere.

You haven't told us what else you have in the tank yet. So do you have wrasses? Sea slugs can pray on these guys at night as well .
