Ballast: Galaxy vs. Lumatek

I think I am going with the galaxy with the radium 20k bulb and Lumen Bright 3 Mogul Base Reflector by CoralVue, some input on galaxy vs. lumatek, and my new cub build will be a 93g. 30x30x24, will be a mix of softies(very little), lps and striving for mostly sps. Thought 250w would be enough, and hanging it about 18" above tank, figure 400w would be overkill, and would not be about to have softies or lps, other thought was whethe or not to get the DIMMABLE 250W / 400W Metal Halide Electronic Ballast, to have an option for the 400w later, if I decided to go strictly SPS, please give me some input on all mentioned above.

Does galaxy have the option for 250w and 400w as well?

They are both good ballasts. Can't go wrong with either one

If galaxy doesn't have the option to go to 400w then go with lumatek

I think they both burn radiums the same way if that's your bulb choice

I have never used galaxy but I do use the lumatek 250/400w adjustable ballasts with radiums. I have been very happy so far with them. I overdrive them on the "superlumen" setting for increased par.
