Hey guys. I just started with a 55 gallon tank. I have been doing a lot of reading and love what I have done so far. I am currently cycling my tank (one week) can't wait to add fish. I also wish to end up with a reef tank and need suggestions. will post all the info of my tank later on. is there anyone near by (pelham pkway and white plains rd) that I can share ideas/ communicate with? thanks

Read some more - you'll find a 55 is tough size for fish only but would make a really nice mixed reef.

I added some pics and info on a blog (My New Tank). Is there any way to speed up the cycling? I am using cyle and adding ammonia as I have some bacteria already and its working pretty well. Any other suggestions?
