High Alk!

Ya, my alk is dkh13.4. Can anyone suggest how to lower it. Cal. 440, Mag 1380. Ph 8.3

Water change and stop dosing alk till u r back down where u wanna be

Leave it alone It will come down on its own rather quickly. Do not add any more buffer to the system. And it is not that high to do any action. Also try not to add any more Ca++ sup's till it gets to say 10- 11 dKH. If you let the calcium fall to 420, that Alk will drop to ~ 10 dKH.
