Mixed up containers - how to tell between calcium and alkalinity solution?

After mixing I forgot to label and I don't know for SURE which is which. Is there a certain taste/smell/characteristic I can tell by to identify which is which?

Take a few drops from each container and drop it in the sump ( A FEW DROPS ONLY ) the alk will turn a milky white color and the Cal will stay clear

They both look clearish although one did turn milky, which was the one that did NOT taste bitter, which I assume is what baking soda would taste like, very alkaline.

K so the calcium is the bitter one (calcium chloride). Alkalinity is a little salty (sodium bicarbonate). Had some freezes from the bags leftover

Pretty darn simple. Alk solution will have almost zero Cslcium and Ca solution will have almost zero Alk. Just use your Alk and Ca++ kits and test them. The allk kit will peg the Alk kit and Ca++ will peg the Ca++ kit. Just add a few drops of each to a glass of RO water. And tasting them is good also .

Use vinegar!!! Alk is make with baking soda and will bubble.
