Hanna marine phosphorus ULR HI 736 question

I has bought use Hanna marine phosphorus ULR HI 376.
I has a hard time understand the reading.

I have a 20 gal tank in the office and yes use tap water. :smash::smash:
always get reading over 200 mean over range. I have switch over using distilled water.
still getting the same number. what went wrong and number I need for phosphorus for a 20 gal.

The Hanna ULR measures phosphorus. You need to use a formula to convert the phosphorus reading to phosphate.

Multiply the reading that you are getting by 3.066 and then divide that by 1000 to get ppm phosphate.

As for what your levels should be it depends on what you plan to keep. I try to keep my level between .05 and .08

Lisunken you bought the wrong meter if you want the reading you want as phosphate and not phosphorus the Hanna Instruments HI713 Phosphate Low Range Checker
