I just have a contanier I add 1 teaspoon of Kent Kalkwasser to Ro water and let it drip into the tank at night. It is about 1/2 gal of water. I have a 100 gallon tank. ph range 8.1-8.5. Is this method ok or shall I seek a more $ way of doing it?
The method itself is fine. Whether it can keep up with the demands of the tank willd epend on what is in it. For many tanks, limewater alone is adequate for calcium and alaklinity supplementation
