Can the test procedure of the Hach HA-4P calcium test be modified to aquire a strontium concentration? I remember reading that Bingman was using Hach to test for strontium. I have access to a Hach DR4000 spectrophotometer.

It is a pain to do well. You need extremely accurate volume measurements, and a very accurate temperature measurement. And if you can't do it well, in my view, there isn't any point in doing it at all. I can't recommend the stuff that I was trying for general consuption. AA or ICP is really the way to go for accurate Sr measurements in seawater.
If people are interested in keeping near NSW concentrations of Sr in their systems, probably the easiest way to approach the problem is to use a supplement like C-Balance, that contains one mole percent Sr (the molar ratio of Sr:Ca is 0.01, which is the same ratio as found in reef biogenic aragonites.) People using CaCO3/CO2 reactors probably don't need to worry about this parameter at all, since they are dissolving a material that already contains one mole percent Sr.
