Hi Randy,
I read you article about tap water and had a quick question about copper.
You said that it would be ok to let the water run 5- 10 min. to let mineral build up in the pipes to be washed away. Which I always do.

Will copper leach out more using cold water or hot?

The reason I ask is that, I always see it build up (residue) on my bathroom sink and tub. It's the only place in the house where I see it. I thought it might be because our hot water is mainly used in there. Any toughts?

More with hot, because that is generally run less often (pipes not cleared, water sets in contact allows some to go into solution). Of course, I could be entirely wrong.
