Better test kit for calcium and alkalinity then LaMotte

I have LaMottes test kits for both calcium and alkalinity and I'm really not happy with color change, is there some better ones ($ don't matter) that show a more distinct change? Is there any electronic ones that I could use?

I like the salifert test kits. Have you used them? They ahve good color changes.

Salifert calcium and alkalinity both change from pink/red to a clear blue? Thats a lot better then blue to purple

I've not used any aquarium-related titrators. I expect the Hach Digital titrator is good quality, however.
