First of all, thank you for creating the "receipe" ;-)
My question concerns how best to disolve the baking soda.
I tried for hours to get the specified amount to disolve without success. Finally, I heated it on the stove at which point it did dissolve completely, however, about a week later I went to add more to the system and when I shook the jug .. rattle .. rattle .. rattle.
A significant amont precipatated, checking my dosing pump tubing I noted that it had become clogged due to precipation of the baking soda as well.
I'm thinking that it might be better to double the quantity of liquid used in the receipe to 2 gallons in order to lessen the concentration and hopefully avoid the issue in the future.
Your thoughts and advice would be most appreciated.
Looking forward to your "next" episode.
Regards
Noel
