hey guys, i have a little problem with my tank.
right now i have green slime alge and brown alge is growing all over my live rock. I know its because i have bad stats with my chemicals, last i checked i was here,
1. Ph= 8.2
2. Temp= 74
3. ALK= normal
4. NITRATE= 30 low range, 150 high range
5. AMMONIA= 0.25
6. TOXIC AMMONIA= 8.5
7. NITRATE= 0.05
I know, I know its pretty bad. I went to my LFS and asked what i could do. he gave me a ammonia sponge, and so right now i think my ammonia is better but see heres my big problem, my nitrates and nitrites are out of wack because i havent done a water change, in the year ive owned it. I just dont have enough money to get a RO filter or the salt or the heaters. I dont know what to do, is there any natural way to take care of my problem...
