I currently use a CO2 reactor for calcium addition, with pH controller and top up with Kalkwasser + acetic acid. I am finding it difficult ot maintain calicum around 400ppm without additional calcium suppplements. Has anyone had any experience using Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium instead of Kalkwasser as I have heard that by using this as the top up + calcium via CO2 calcium reactor would eliminate needs for supplemental dosing to maintain calcium & alkalinity.
Current water parameters = Ca 400mg/l pH 8.2 alkalinity 11oDh (3.9meq/l). 600 litre using approx 25 to 30mg/l calium per day :?:
