bringing alk down.. how to??

I have been dosing two part calc/alk additves to get my calc to 425 in prep to dose kalkwasser. My calc is rising painfully slow, the issue I need help with is my alk has risen to 3.89 meq/L this is at the upper end of acceptable levels is it not?? for reef tank.

I have stopped dosing part B and am adding just the calc.

Question is when my alk is this high what is a surefire way to drop the alk to an acceptable level???
