I am sorry to say that I am rescheduling this week's chat to Sunday. My parents are visiting from out of town (over 700 miles) this weekend and I have a school-related field exercise during our regular chat time on Saturday morning.
I will hold forth on Sunday Feb. 10 from 1-2PM on our regular IRC channel. The floor will be open for questions and discussion regarding alkalinity, what it means, how it affects tank conditions and how calcium reactors and/or kalk drips affect it.
