Not sure what went wrong but my Trumpet is not doing well. How do I make him better?

biocube 29Gal tank 150W 20K HQI lighting
PH 8.05
KDH 8.5
Calcium 420

that looks more like a candy cane to me trumpet have bigger heads eather way try moving it they like low flow and medium light and i do own both and this how i have them and they grow pretty fast

What are your other water params? What may have changed? Do anything different

The last set of recent changes I made to the system was adding API Phos-Zorb started getting a slight algae issue do to increase in phosphate

I also replaced my HQI stock bulb with an XM 20K. I didn't like the color of the stock bulb

My water params are
PH 8.05
KDH 8.5 using API test kit
Calcium 420 using API test kit
phosphate 0 using API test kit
Nitrate close to 0 using API test kit
Water change are done bi-weekly 5 gallons using Red Sea Pro salt
My tank has be running for 2 months

I wonder if it offers a better stability. also wondering if any way I can setup the CP to act like a FP - and at later time when more XP, can use the CP attributes.
I read this funny review here (bias I'm sure) but they do have some valid points .what u guys think?
I did search the forum could not find feedback about master CP for beginners.
