My 24 gallon Aqua-Pod w/ 150w metal halides has a large assortment of mushrooms, from green to red to brown to blue and oranges. My issue is that the brown mushrooms seems to be turning a little white. The other mushrooms are rich in color and seems fine. Has any one seen anything like this before! Thank you for your time!

By "a little white" do you mean a small part of it is completely white or do you mean overall it has become slightly whiter.

Overall, the white mushroom is turning white. The ph and temp is fine. I moved the mushrooms to my other tank, with compact fluorescents and they seem a little better. Maybe it was too intense for the mushrooms, but the green, blue and reds like the bright light. I just have to see if they do better in the lower lighting. thanks!

Different colors handle light differently. It probably is too much light for that mushroom.
Or you may have some chemical warfare going on between the different mushrooms. If you manage to keep your tank going for a number of years one group will end up the winner and all the others will disappear. Using charcoal helps as well as water changes to dilute the chemicals.
