I have a colt coral for several months that was thriving up to last week, during the last week or so the colt stays mostly closed and appears to be losing its branches.

Water prameters (sal, phos, nit, ammon, cala, alk) are all within range and the rest of the tank is thriving.

Any suggestions on how to save it?

It did look like your photo when it used to open up. The salinity has not changed and it has been and that spot for several months. I'll try moving it down to the bottom and see what changes.

I had the same problem. Same coral. People thought I was giving it too much light, so I moved it lower in the tank. I suppose it's better. It's certainly not worse.

It may take awhile to recover (it's basically bleached), so still not sure what happened. All measurable tank params are fine (Mg, Ca, NH4, etc).
