I am having a problem with candycanes that have algae in between the branches. It is a hair algae of sorts aand I don't know how the get rid of it. Some colonies have a lot of space in beween the branches and I can clean those with a tooth brush. But the tighter ones are a problem. any suggestions.

Easier sadi than done. Actually I only have a couple patches. Then I had a cyano problem. I did reduce it but could not get rid of it so I used some product that actually did work without killing anything else. But since then the algae has really started growing and that include my coraline. I guess the cyano was beating them all and now that it is gone they get those 'nutrients'.
