I was curious if there is a best time of day/night to frag corals.
Please correct me if i'm wrong.
I have only read a few articles on fragging, but would it be beneficial to cut corals at night, b/c they don't have the intensity of the "sun" (in my case, 250w MH 20k 30" above the coral in question) and are able to "heal" easier? Or does the "sun" provide vital energy/etc.?

Along the same lines, should a "cut" coral/frag be placed in low light and or flow areas for a few hours/days regarless of lighting/flow requirements?

Thanks

Interesting question. I think the most important thing is to be sure to cut along the skeleton surrounding the polyp, minimizing damage to the 'meaty' part of the coral.
