I had a leather coral that was attached to two seperate rocks. My urchin shifted the two rocks and split the leather. Will it die? it has not opened all day and stayed on it's side?

help?

as long as the coral is not blown off the rock by the current, it should be fine. toadstools are tough as nails. they just need time to heal if stress.

Should be fine; soft corals like leathers and toadstools are pretty hardy. It'll probably look crappy and flopped-over for a few days or a week, if it reacts like my kenya tree did to trauma, before puffing back up and recovering.
