I just received my do it yourself moonlight led materials. Its not really going to be just a moonlight, its going to be a blue light that then dimmssss down to a moonlight.

Any tips you can share as far as soldering and other lessons learned greatly appreciated.

Make sure you have at least a 40 watt iron(you don't want to cheap here as you will eat up tips). practice a little on some bare wire to get the feel of it..VERY IMPORTANT TO TIN YOUR WIRES AND STARS BEFORE ATTACHING TO HEAT SINK this way it will be easier to attach wires,as the heat sink will suck the heat from the star your trying to solder. TIN means adding a small amount of solder to the wires/stars prior to actual soldering..just do a you tube search on soldering there are plenty..good luck.any more question let me know ill try to help.

The 300 reef at Fauna has been running for over a year now entirely on Orpheks and we have a few ORA SPS that were added as frags when we restarted it. Growth has been very impressive. You're welcome to come check it out.
