basic design looks good. check out the fuge build post from yesterday, i think willfresco might be the name that started thread. Rich and Russ had some comments in that one that you might find useful

That last baffle where the return pump doesnt need to be the same height or have the same water line as the first two chambers. Just something to keep in mind. You might actually want it like that.

I put a 3 inch sandbed in my fuge. I dont know if I would go that route on my next build. My chaeto is so dense and full that I dont think theres much flow on the sandbed.

Not sure about your LR section. I assume that you are going to glue the eggcrate to the bottom?? But then that would require it to hold the weight of the LR. I would not do that. I would probably cut the piece of eggcrate to fit under the baffle, therefore it would only need to hold the rock BACK and not up.

Hey guys sorry i haven't responded been busy with school. So the basic consensus is that i should drop the last baffle and get rid of the sand but wouldn't that cause air to be sucked into the return pump? And thanks everyone for all the help any advice or designs would be surely appreciated.
