Hello friends this is my attempt to make ozone reactor. i know these things cost so much money in the market and everyone in this hobby have done something to save some money and have pride that you have done/achieved something. i know we all make mistakes but thats the only way we get better. i bought all the material from canal street plastics. i tell you great guys and if you explained them they will make and cut everything for you. if are willing to wait for 1/2 hr or so you can actually bring it back with you. this is 4 inch pvc with flanges and i basically glues it togather. whole thing cost me arround 70 bucks and i tell you this thing is strong. i am running this with ventury and luft pump. i am not using dryer at this time becaues if i use dryer i loose pressure in the reactor and water start to rise. so pump 500gph is feeding the ventury and ozone is pushed with luft pump and it gets mixed in ventury and then sprinked over bio balls to give more time for water to react with ozone and after that it goes through my carbon reactor. i am controlling ozone generator with my apex and i have orp probe in my dt. hopefully my water quality clears a bit. i have heard lots of good things about ozone. any comments or suggestions are welcome.
