Avice on modding a stand

I have a stand that's 60" long and I have a 125 tank that's 72" long. The stand has 3/4" ply on top. Im thinking of adding a 6" piece of 3/4" ply to each side of the stand using those heavy duty angled shelf brackets. Do you think this would be stable enough to hold the 125? Any advice is appreciated. Tia

i wouldnt trust it, tanks are mostly supported by the corners, no way would i trust brackets
