DIY LED Custom Enclosure HELPPPP

I purchased this kit from Rapid LED and mounted the heat sinks to my canopy and they are just to close to the water. The Lights look amazing but I am still not using them as I still have not figured out a way to make a somewhat nice enclosure for them so I can suspend them over my tank. I wanted to see if anyone on here could help out with some ideas or anyone that has gone this route before to help build an enclosure for the units. I have 2 heat sings 5.9" x 16 each heat sink has 24 leds 12 royal blue and 12 cool while. I also purchased a reef angel controller for them. The diy part of this was a litle over my head. If I cannot figure something out I will most likely try to sell these on here and look at other fixtures. I am now back to using my Tek 8 bulb T5. Anyone that can help please let me know.:sigh:

I built a canopy for my DIY leds. It was lighting up my whole livingroom. I seen someone use (2) 2x4's for their led setup.

Do you have any pics you can post. I have a canopy that exactly matches my stand but with the light mounted in there it's way to close to the water and I get to much spot light effect.

Thanks. I dont know how your enclosure looks. But if its wood, you can put 2 pieces of wood on each side and measure how high you want it
