diy carbon reactor question...

I butchered up my old ROdi unit, left 2 connecting canisters. Can I use the same pre filter and carbon block cartridges (new of course). Or is it better to use bulk carbon in the second canister? What pump would be good for this type of application? I am going to put a control valve inline with the pump to control flow. Any advice on this is welcomed. Thanks.

You need 2 of the DI resin canisters without the resin. Couple of pieces of filter sponge and a valve for flow.

I did my own I orderd the canister to out inside for like 9 bucks on ebay I filled it with carbon I changed the inlet lines to a bigger size for a bigger hose and wala lol

I know I can order a blank cartridge from BRS to hold carbon. Wanted to know if it's possible to use the replacement cartridges (carbon block) in a reactor type application.

The carbon block filter is not the same as running a reactor with GAC

It's a filter. Not a media holder. It will clog up on you.
