I didn't use it in any of my lights, though I think it's very nice, but a little expensive. I would put that money towards Apex and dim the light through it. Apex, with it's simple programming code can do the same and more than DIM4. Nevertheless, I would like to play with it and see if I miss something.
That's part of the MakersLED heatsink. It was a kickstarter project initially. Really nice package, but a little pricey. It comes with the screws, fan, shield, and heatsink of course. It's like $50 per 12 inches or so. You can get them in pretty much any length from 6-48" I believe. I've been considering using them in my future build for the flexiblity and not having to drill.
