Local kiln?

Does anyone know where I can have plaster of Paris fired? I'm trying to make DIY plugs. Long Island if possible. Thank you.

There was a pottery/ceramic place in Medford on 112. East side south of the train trestle. North of peconic.

They had a kiln.

I've tried calling a bunch of pottery shops, and none so far will do it.

They have pottery classes there if I recall. Make make some plugs and fire them.

what material you are using to make plugs and what temp they required to be fired ?

I have not done it yet but have heard of others doing it. Just use the 2 part kneadable epoxy and roll it out. I am going to be making some of them for my acans that I am going to frag. The nice part is that can make them thin. And then fragging becomes so much easier.
