DIY coral viewer/ port hole

Had some parts laying around and I was bored on Sunday.

4" coupling from hd
Piece of acrylic
Glue to hold the acrylic in place
Silicone to make it water tight
Spray paint


I used a dremel to cut the acrylic.

I had enough for 2 I only painted one. They are curing now ill test them out tomorrow

Good idea but like stated the paint will chip off the PVC and will be in your tank

Did you use the Krylon fusion paint?

Nope it was old no name spray paint I had. Duke is right it will chip off I think. Glad I didn't paint 1!!!!

Yeah super cheap the coupling was 2.50 at hd

Sweet. What blade did you use on dremel to cut acrylic?

I used the cutter blade. Go slow as the faster you cut it melts the acrylic. Once cut I used the blade to smooth the edges.
