DIY Sump/Refugium

Finished my cousin's sump refugium out of 1/4 cast acrylic, he helped lol. The seam work is pretty good, and could be viewed from. The edges were so perfect that my cousin actually somehow cut his finger:smash: Sure there are some small flaws, but it's a sump and was build in my kitchen.

Nice work but you will likely find that any length over 16-18" is going to bow. You may want to put a top on it 3/4 to 1" wide which will help a lot. Otherwise nice seam work.

Have one of my first builds, it measures 36" if I recall and it is keeping its form. If I'm not mistaken the height of the water would play a bigger role in the expansion of the materiel.
