sup yall

i built this 10g sump for an upcoming 37g tank and it leaves about 3.5" on the side inside the stand.

Im wondering if it makes sense. Water will flow from left to right as shown, but will the water make it above the second pane of glass? any external skimmers that are less that 3.5" wide? Will post pic of skimmer that i have not sure if it will be good.

Any input, corrections questions will help. thanks

yeaa, ill post a pic of the one i got my hnds on (u can see the base of it on the left, above the rag). i was hoping to maximize refugium space by using a hang on skimmer, and i think mine will JUST fit off the side in the stand and wondering if I did have to swap out, are there any that would be good capacity and size (<3.5" from edge of sump).

I kinda rushed it, but i hope that i didnt make the drain chamber too narrow, or the second panel of glass too tall. basically i hope i didnt F up lol my first attempt at designing my own
