I have built a few of these over the years by just adding a little attachement to a magnet cleaner and it is great for cleaning off coralline algae or just algae. It is free to build and just takes a few minutes. If you slide out the razor blade it works just as it did as a regular magnet cleaner.
I tried to get one patented and manufactured by this company Davison (some inventors help company) and they asked for $600 to prototype or something. Didn't do it but soon enough they made one. Was gonna call it the Magnablade
I have one . I forgot what its called. Its clear with am orange plastic piece w 2 black screws that hold the blade. I got it from tb aquatics at the swap a few years ago. Works wonders on coralline on the glass
Thanks Rookie. Yes, and I don't have a patent on a glass cleaner and I am not looking for one. This thing is simple to make if anyone wants to make one. :usa1:
Those are cool but I designed mine because corals are growing right up to the front glass so this thing gets right between them. That larger one would not fit.
