Decided to give EcoBak pellets a try in my BRS dual reactor. Eventually want to ditch my fuge. I needed to split the feed lines in order to run separate flow rates. Going to start off with GFO in the first canister till the pellets take off. Then switch the GFO to carbon.
Also modded the pellet reactor side as found on the web.
Stock dual reactor
Found a mounting position on the factory bracket that used 2 factory holes each. These I marked with a cross.
Drilled 2 new holes each, marked as new.
Here are the units mounted on the plate. Notice the pellet side is reversed flow. It will now fill from the center and drain from the side. The stock inner canister will not be used.
NOTE: not shown in pic, but the air bleed hole gets plugged on the pellet unit
Split finished
Canister mod for pellets. Piece of PVC with the end heated and stretched to fit the reactor.
Piece of mesh, and a piece of a funnel
