Just to clarify, the driver is a built in power supply...i dont think thats the right heatsink though but it looks like it would cool without needing a fan. I believe the UV leds run at 700 or 500 mA so shouldnt get as hot as a 1A cree
So all I would need is that kit those heats sinks and that it? What about lenses? I want a wider optic so im thinking 90 optics and I would need something to use to mount it to the sides of the AI
Now your getting complicated. How high are your ai's mounted? And what size area are you looking to cover. 90 should be fine and you'll have to figure out a mounting option for sure. Does it need to attach to the ai's
I want to mount them onto the AI. On the sides. 2 on one side 2 on the other. Just trying to figure out how to do it. I dont care what it looks like because I will be putting a canopy on soon
Maybe just put a bar connecting two them and have that straddle across each AI. Its hard to help on mounting since I don't know how they are mounted now...but that part is just mechanical.
Any problem with drill holes in the heat sinks on new heat sink? Im thinking I can attach the UV to that using a small bolt attched to the plastic housing on the AI
If ur only adding a few would I be possible to use the lunar led kit from rapidled and just swap them for uv lights? Its dyi kit anyway. Just some thought. Would be good for 2-4 uv lights.
