quick Q, Im setting up my main syphon drain and my E drain for my single overflow for my 120. Perfecto gave me a 1 1/2" standpipe with a 1" reducer on it and I already bought another for the E drain.

Is there any problems I should think about with this? Using a 1 1/2" PVC into a 1" bulkhead and 1" down into the sump?

You are going to reduce the total throughput from that drain by reducing it. Are the holes drilled for 1" or 1 1/2" bulkhead?

How far is it from the bulkhead to the sump? I'm running a Herbie with just 2- 1 inch lines with no problem. I would use the 1-1/2 for the E and just use 1 inch for the syphon. By the way I'm running a 150 gallon tank.

the tank has two 1" bulkheads. The way I have it right now is a 1"slip X male thread from the bulkhead into a female 1" X 1 1/2" slip. I like this because if I need to take out the standpipes I can just unthread them while leaving the 1" fitting glued into the bulkheads.

I plan to keep the 1" from the bulkhead all the way into the sump.

the real question is will that reduction at the bulkhead cause issues with the full syphon?

There is no reason to glue the standpipe inside the overflow. And yes I think the reducer could mess up the siphon, just use 1 inch standpipe for the siphon and you can use the reducer on the emergency drain, shouldn't make a difference.
You want to be able to remove the standpipes, I've netted many a fish out of an overflow. Lol

So I don't have to glue the main drain and the E drain to the bulk heads? I wasn't sure..

I already have it all plumbed so I guess Ill be the guinea pig and try it out. If its not glued to the bulkheads it would be easy to just swap it out.

maybe double street 45's will get it away from the weir. looks good try it out
might work fine. just in case you misunderstood me, glue everything outside of the tank :) everything in the overflow should be fine without glue.
