My 125 Gallon Fish Tank Almost Done

HEY EVERYONE,

Well, I finally got the stand together [doors are almost done]and got the tank. [125 gal w/ 2 mega flo's] I set up a sump/refuge using a 55 gallon. here's a few pictures. will be working on the top next week!! I can't wait to get it all together. got the tank from Chris at Reef Fantasy [he hooked me up!!]

THANKS! Yes, I tried to build the whole sump/refuge out of acrylic.....did not go well and blew $100 trying to do it. So, I went and got a 55 gallon tank and had the guy at lowe's cut the glass for me for $12 bucks...sweet! total cost $89 [really $189 if you add in the $100 I blew on acrylic. Should of went with the 55 gallon tank from the start. ...live and learn.

125 isnt heavy- its a two person move.... my first 150 was heavy lol

I have one two same age age but mine i think is a lot smaller and shes a ahde darker then yours w/ white paws and a white spot on her head. yours is real pretty though

Thanks Steve, Not to get off the fish subject, but I've had pittbulls for over20 years with 3 kids and never had a problem. it's a shame what a bad rap they get. The one in the picture i got from cali. champion bloodline 4th generation.

LOL, that is so true, should have bought stock in the Disney channel and yes their are 2 hanna fans 1- spongebob fan....well, 2 , I like spongebob myself...LOL



now the list begins:
lighting- think I'm going with 3 mh 175's 14k with some luner lights
skimmer - don't know yet but must be kick ass [suggestions please]
return pump - looks like a mag 18
powerheads- liking 2 seio's 1500 maybe 3
i'm thinking of doing a close loop system but i still think i will need a powerhead or two in there so i just might go with the powerheads.
live rock- have about 15lbs in my 12 gallon nano which i will be breaking down and selling so keep your eye's out for that. SO, about another 100 to 130 lbs [ walt smith LR ]
Sand- want to do at least a 2 in sand bed so think i will need about 100lbs of fine sand.
- will be adding some cooling fans on the ends of the canopy
FISH- too far down the list to think about

The tank looks great best of wishes with it, sorry got to comment on your pit. your pit as a baby is adorable. I have three, 1 red nose, 1 blue nose, 1 white w/brindle patches. love them all.
