help me buld a hood...

okay guys..i am making a hood for my small tank. I am at college so i have no tools whatsoever...what do i need besides wood, or what type of wood..can i get stuff at homedepot..

by any chance does your school have a wood shop you can use?
without any tools it's going to be tough.

cant u buy a little toy wood box from like ragshop? ur tanks only 3 gallons, dimesions arent that much.
