Hey guys, I've been planning on starting up a frag tank so I went out and bought a 24x16x8 tank. The big problem is trying to find a tank stand that would fit this custom frag tank. I eventually wanted to build my own stand for it but I some how came across a free jbj 28 stand. The tank had an inch overhang on both sides so I bought a piece of 3/4 plywood to fix the overhang. After I set up everything, there seems to be a side to side wobble on the stand. I know it's not the floor or the base of the stand because I shimmed it enough so that the stand is leveled. The wobbling is occurring on the middle boards of the tank. Is there any way to reinforce the stand? I was thinking of using those metal L brackets found at home depot. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I would remove plywood. Get 1x3 make a box the width and length of tank. Make sure it also sit on top of the stand evenly. Paint it black like having a platform between stand and frag tank. Cost under $10

personally i wouldn't trust it at all man. bite the bullet and build one from scratch.

I had one of those stand very solid. Is Everything tight. Check bottom see if something missing or off. That stand without any trouble can hold that frag tank. Make sure its tight and level.
