Skin with 1/4 or 1/2???

Built a stand out of 2x4's and its pretty solid. I made the stand wider and longer than the tank so that i have more space under. I placed 2 beams on the top and bottom to help support the weight. Only issue is i don't know what to skin it with. Tank is rimless if that makes any difference.

1/4 is pretty thin and flimsy. Depending on the stand I'd generally say go with 1/2. 1/4 would be a good choice for the back of the stand.

Agree - I used 1/4 on the back and 1/2 sanded around.

1/2" skin and 3/4"top/Inside bottom because i have my sump in the stand.
