Am I nuts, or does this sound like a cool idea?
I am thinking of getting some 1" thick slabs of cell-pore and attaching them to the walls of a tank (using aquarium sealant) to create a sort of "surround" inside one of my tanks. I'm thinking of testing it on a 10 gallon that will be plumbed into my main tank. Not quite a refugium, but more of a micro reef with a HUGE sump (G)....
I just saw this stuff for the first time this past weekend when I made a trip up to That Fish Place... It looks kinda neat, and their website says it can be carved using a saw or file... Of course a lot would have to be done to get rid of the "blocky" look...
Has anybody tried anything similar?
