trying to find out where i can obtain plastic molding for custom shaped small aquariums. small as in sub 20 gal that is.
Plastic molding as in the top and bottom frame of the tank. I probably could go without, but then better safe than sorry.
I just bought some. I looked in the Yellow Pages under Plastics and called a few and asked if they sold Acrylic. There were a lot around me. Alternatively, Lexar is also good. A little more, $6-8 US$ sq ft, but you can be assured that it wont crack when you drill.
I used that for my sump lid with input holes
I just built a small refugium and reinforced the corners and bottom with right-angle plastic corner protectors. I found it in the wallpaper section of the hardware store. A 4-foot length cost me $3 and change.
