DIY bulkhead

has any one done diy bulkheads? i have done them on a smaller tank but i am trying to plumb AGA 125 and my old way doesnt work on this big of a hole.
sugguestions?

Exactally, why would you want to risk dumping over 100g for $5?

while 1" bukheads may be in the $5 range, the 3" that I needed/wanted for my drilled overflows were potentially a lot more. Instead, I used shower drains from my local Home Depot. This provided capability of 3" or even 4" elbows for the overflow draining into 1 1/2" or 2" drain pipe. Plety of capacity, minimal cost, looks great (MHO). EMail me for details if you like.
