Yup thats a stand. I have a couple Q;s though. First, why not replace the oak 1/4 round with just rounding the original piece with a round over bit? cleaner finish in the end. OK and why are the slats on the bottom like that? I dont see a point to them.
I hope you dont take offense to these questions they are curiosity. I build stands all the time for friends and neighbors. Maybe going to open up a shop.
