M59 or M135

Which one is best for a Ushio 400watt 10K bulb? Will the M59 fire up the bulb?

I don't remember all the M-specification, but for metal halide, use M-59 for 400W regular bulb. I think M-135 is for pulse-start bulb. So is the Ushio a pulse start bulb???

Oh, AAOM is down, but one of the last year's issue (Sept or Oct.), there is a feature article about the different ANSI specification, and the type of bulb for it.... check it out and see if you can find it useful.

I think some online stores are recommending using the M135 for the USHIOS now.
