Fergy,

I'm getting around to glueing the reactor. I'm putting together the box. I glued three sides and didn't see the glue coming out the outside side. On the fourth side, I got the hang of squirting enough glue and holding the needle at 70 degree angle with slow even pressure. Of course, I did see the glue on the outside seam on this last side.

What can I do for the other three sides that I think I didn't use enough glue? Should I shot #4 from the outside seam or use a bead of #40 on the inside seam?

Thanks.

You can run #4 along the outside, but it probably doesn't matter too much. Don't bother with #40 on the inside of the seam. That can actually increase the stress on the joint, since the two pieces are already glued together. #40 shrinks as it cures, pulling the two pieces toward each other where they are glued. I've actually seen it crack thin extruded when this happens.

Chances are, enough glue got in there to bond it.
