Hi all!

I did the plumbing on my new tank yesterday.... here's a quick summary:

75 gal tank
~20 gal sump
mak 4 pump (~1200 gph)
plumbing through holes in water line....
water from pump through a 3/4" bulkhead.
water from tank through 1" bulkhead.

My problem is my pump rate into the tank is WAY exceeding my rate out of the tank to the sump. So obviously i need to fix that.

I figure i could increate the size of the single bulkhead, or add a 2nd bulk head, or both.

Anyone have a feel for what size plumbing should be sufficient?

Thanks!
Ken

Can't help you figure out the size but I do recommend a second bulkhead. I am paranoid about plugged drains and serious overflow accidents.

What was that the CEO of Intel said?... "Only the paranoid don't get wet feet" :D :D

redundancy... nice.

Unfortunately my flow rate is so low through 1 overflow any serious failure of 1 would still result in a flood in about 30 seconds :(

Do you have a pic of your bulkhead? Are you using an elbow or straight tube? Is there anytype of strainer? Maybe we can help out.
