Fergy;

I'm wondering about the possibility of changing the size of the base. I have a nice 9"x 18" space between my stand and the corner that I'd like to fit the reactor in. There's really nowhere near my aquarium with a 12x12" area of floor space. If I can figure a different way to mount the pump, maybe off the base, would it be kosher to cut down the base, or at least go out and buy a 9x18 piece of 3/8 cast to make a different base? Also, is there a limit on hose length for the CO2 run? IE, can I set up with the reactor and CO2 tank some distance (like 3 or 4 feet) between them?

BTW, anyone who's got an opinion on this, feel free to respond.
Thanks, Matt (boy)

Matt: you can put the pump wherever you want it, that's up to you. You can make the base plate about 7" wide, and mount the pump in front of hte body, like on the picture of that sample reactor from the beginning of the course. Look at that for ideas.

The CO2 can be a long way from the reactor, not an issue.
