Stripping a PC down

So i'll be setting up a small 70g tank. I have a 250w MH, but I want to add some actinics to the hood.

Is it safe to take apart an old PC ?

YUP.

as long as you unplug it first!

Just pay attention to the end caps. Make a note where the wires go.

You might also want to get some waterproof endcaps if there's a chance they're going to get wet.
